Herbert L. Kloiber launched NTM in February 2020.

Prior to forming NTM, Herbert Kloiber served as the Managing Director of Germany’s Tele München Group (TMG) and its seven subsidiaries including Concorde Film, Concorde Home Entertainment, TELE5, TMI, ODD and Clasart.

During his 2012-19 tenure overseeing all operations, strategy, acquisitions, sales, co-productions and co-financing for the leading European media company, Herbert Kloiber was credited with spearheading TMG’s expansion into the direct-to-consumer market with the launch of the SVOD service Filmtastic; entering into strategic output deals with Netflix and Amazon; optimizing the value of its content with more efficient windowing across its distribution platforms; and expanding revenue streams internationally through distribution, co-production and direct investments in IP-based production companies such as Storied Media Group.

Prior to joining NTM in November 2025, Gerhard worked for more than 19 years in various Finance positions, predominantly in the media sector at companies such as Discovery Networks and Pearson Education.

Gerhard holds a Diploma in Business Administration (equivalent to a Master’s degree) from the Technische Hochschule Augsburg with a focus on Controlling and International Accounting.

Olivia Pahl became part of NTM in September 2020, bringing her experience from StudioCanal TV and Tandem Productions, where she advanced to Head of Development after starting in 2015.

As a creative executive, she collaborated closely with writers in a mentorship capacity while overseeing partner relationships and creative development throughout development, production, and post-production workflows.

Her responsibilities included managing third-party project submissions; serving as Co-Executive Producer on Shadowplay, an eight-episode thriller series by Tandem Productions and Bron Studios, with financing from ZDF, Viaplay, CANAL+, NC+, and NPO; and contributing to development on The Man Who Fell to Earth, Moscow Noir, Sanctuary, and The Lawyer.

James joined the team at NTM in July 2022 to head up development and coproductions. With a background in theatre, James was president of the drama society at Oxford University and worked as a director and producer in the West End, on the Edinburgh Fringe and as a teacher of acting for the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain before focusing on teaching theatre theory and practice in the UK and Germany. Recruited into television and film development in 2018 at SquareOne Produtions in Munich, James spent four years building and running a slate of international projects for the company in various languages, including working on L’ORA (Canale 5, Italy) and OXEN (ZDF/TV2, Denmark). During his time at SquareOne there he also worked closely with the acquisitions and distribution team both on television and feature film projects.

Julia Fahrnbauer joined NTM in July 2021 from German Producer Ariane Krampe, where she worked for six years as Junior Producer and Executive Assistant.

There, she worked across many scripted productions for German linear television networks. She liaised closely with writers and directors across the development process of films and series, and with executive partners and technical teams during the pre and post-production processes.

Prior to joining NTM in December 2021, Malte Ludin practiced in-house as senior legal counsel for many years with some of Germany‘s leading independent film and television companies, acquiring extensive knowledge of all legal and practical aspects of international and domestic media financing, production and distribution.

Malte holds degrees in both German and French law. He is admitted to practice as Rechtsanwalt.
